Reports are made available on receipt of payment or otherwise at the discretion of Technicality Ltd. This isn’t about being miserable, it is about keeping costs low – if we don’t have to chase payment, we don’t have to allow for additional administration. We reserve the right to add costs of collection, and interest to unpaid accounts.

We endeavour to complete reports requested within 48 hours subject to access and availability of the property.

Reports and inspections are based on NZS 4306:2005. As such, they are non-invasive. All areas that can be accessed safely are reported on. The purpose of inspections and reporting are to satisfy the requirements of Technicality Limited relating to the assessment and procurement of real estate.

Real estate ownership involves an element of risk. Non destructive inspections do not certify that a home is fault free, but aim to provide an objective comparison standard for informed decision making -this reduces, but does not negate risk. Technicality Ltd does not undertake this risk, however, if further faults are found, we will endeavor to assist you to solve those issues as simply as possible.

The inspection addresses the visible condition of the building only. The approach is pragmatic; our focus is on the simplest method of rectifying faults, rather than attributing cost to either the purchaser or the vendor. Our aim is to facilitate win win win outcomes.

While all care is paid to finding and identifying issues, we cannot guarantee that every item of note has been identified – our advice is provided in good faith on the basis of years of construction and residential property investment experience.

Queries and concerns should be raised with us in the first instance, heck, this business is built entirely on keeping you happy – its satisfaction rate of 99.5% is fairly important to me. Your satisfaction is my priority. I will do what it takes to honestly maintain and improve that.
